Aloha!
My name is Edmar Castillo and I am a photographer based in Honolulu, Hawaii. I am the sole member of Specular Industries LLC doing business as Edmar Castillo Photography.
I principally use off-camera lighting because I want to spotlight your best features and could create a more dynamic setting (e.g., at night, indoors, or if I want to compete with the sun).
I am an active member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), a non-profit organization that seeks to teach emerging industry trends in photography and videography.
Finally, I am a Certified Professional Photographer. That means as a Professional Photographer I can assure you that I have professional knowledge and experience through the four pillars: (1) Consistency, (2) Technical Skills, (3) Unique Artistry, and (4) Professionalism.
Fun Facts about me: (1) my photograph was advertised on a billboard in New York, (2) I like to do target archery on weekends, and (3) during the pandemic I started to learn how to make pasta out of semolina flour.

This all helped me feel much more comfortable because posing is already awkward in itself and the weather conditions weren't the best on that particular day.
